Our task where to create a film within the span of 90 seconds with the groups we where put in. we decided on a plot in which me and Georges ideas i put together to create a plot about the effects of conformity and how our lives are taken up by materialistic things blinding you from reality. The way we did it in our group is that we sort of had sectors me and George would further work on the plot and discus ideas which we add to the shot list while Kian & Kurt worked on secondary data. We later had to merge everything together since George left the group and left the other work he was supposed to do like the story board to us in a way it was better as it made work more together as a group and get things done as we where one person short we really had to concentrate on everything and just get it done. when it came to filming it was mostly me and a bit of Kurt and Kian would be the star of the film. Overall it had a good start and a rough middle and but in the end i think it turned out ok.

The Sun Short Film Review

This is a short film which i personally love as it captures what I believe about society. The sun is a tool used to sugar coat everything so you can be manipulated and not even know about it. So many bad things happen at day but you are tricked to look the other way because of the distractions that are available by day that distracts you from the important things in life being yourself which comes in form of the night as no one can see you at night so you be yourself without judgement from brainwashed people who think happiness comes from the amount of purchases you make. The night is an escape for people who are self aware of the real world they live in. The sun is an depiction of everything the people higher up really are and what they are doing as i like the contrapuntal music in this for this reason to show how much the world is sugar coated. I like the color scheme as well though its quite orange the source is yellow a cowardly color which is why i like that the person is black like the night trying to get away from the light into the misunderstood darkness.
